Welcome to the official Chase’N Cats Rolling Jackpot Catfish Program. By participating in this exciting challenge, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions outlined below.

How to Participate

Purchase a Chase’N Cats rod.

Catch a state record catfish using that rod.

Follow the terms, certify the fish, and submit proof.

If successful, and claim your prize.

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility Criteria

1.1 Must be one of the following three catfish species:

  a. Channel Catfish

  b. Blue Catfish

  c. Flathead Catfish

1.2 Must be caught using only a Chase’N Cats Rod (proof of catch, i.e., photos & video) subject to request from Chase’N Cats Chase’N Outdoors.

1.3 Eligible ONLY in the lower 48 United States and limited to legal US citizens. Void where prohibited by law.

1.4 Eligible fish must be state certified within 48 hours of catching & Chase’N Cats (Chase’N Outdoors) must be notified within this 48 hours as well.

1.5 Must wear official Chase’N Cats attire for official promotional photos/videos.

1.6 State certified fish must be safely released back into the waters it was caught from. Any fish that is not safely released will automatically disqualify the participant (Subject to Chase’N Outdoors discretion on Safely released alive, Gills moving doesn’t mean alive). Chase’N Cats reserves the right to determine if the eligible fish was safely released. Chase’N Cats may request a video of release if an official Chase’N Cats representative is unavailable to attend the certification and release.

1.7 All participants will be required to take a polygraph test. Chase’N Cats reserves the right to determine what questions will be on all polygraph tests. Any participant that is determined to give ANY false information will be disqualified from the program.

1.8 Chase’N Cats reserves the right to terminate the Rolling State Record JackPot Catfish Program at any time.

1.9 Chase’N Cats reserves the right to terminate a rolling state record rewards contract with a participant at their discretion.

1.10 All participants will be required to sign an agreement between themselves and Chase’N Cats granting full use of their name and any photos/videos involving state record fish and themselves for promotional purposes.

1.11 Chase’N Cats will require a signed agreement between the participant and Chase’N Cats stating that the participant agrees (but is not limited) to the following rules.

1.12 Only fish caught in public waters are eligible. The participant will be disqualified if the fish is caught in private waters or waters that are not legally accessible to the general public (Public Access & Public waters). Examples of private waters are, but not limited to; private ponds, stocked ponds within city, state, or national park systems, fish hatcheries, or waters that are restricted to public use.

2. Jackpot Terms

Rolling Jackpot

2.1 The Company establishes a Rolling Jackpot for catching a state record catfish in the lower 48 states.

Jackpot Amount

2.2 The Jackpot starts at $0 and can accumulate up to $50,000 USD per Jackpot.

2.3 The Jackpot will stop once 5 separate Jackpots are reached totaling $250,000.00. If no state record fish are caught, Chase’N Cats can run promotional periods of time to add jackpots together for a greater chance of earning higher rewards. This change will be posted and announced on the Chase’N Outdoors Website.

Contribution

2.4 $10 of every Chase’N Cats rod sold at the MSRP Retail Price of $119.99 will be contributed to the Rolling Jackpot.

Jackpot Reset

2.5 Once the Jackpot reaches $50,000 USD, a second or rollover jackpot will commence, accumulating for another state record.

3. Money Accumulation and Evaluation

Commencement Date

3.1 The Jackpot starts accumulating from sales of Chase’N Cats rods at 12:01 am EST on January 1, 2024, and continues on a per calendar year basis.

Evaluation Period

3.2 The money in the Jackpot shall be evaluated at the end of each calendar year to determine whether to continue the program, and the final decision will be at the sole discretion of Chase’N Outdoors owner, J Chase Consulting LLC.

Unused Funds

3.3 If the Jackpot is not claimed or a qualifying state record catfish is not caught by the end of each calendar year, the money shall be rolled into the next year or used within the Company for other promotions at the company’s discretion.

4. Claiming the Prize

Eligibility

4.1 To claim the prize, the Participant must catch a state record catfish using a Chase’N Cats rod.

Proof and Verification

4.2 The claimant must provide sufficient and adequate proof that the state record catfish was caught using a Chase’N Cats rod.

Lie Detector Test

4.3 Anyone claiming the prize shall be subject to a lie detector test for validation.

False Claims

4.4 Any found false claims shall be subject to prosecution per Butler County, Ohio courts/law.

5. Additional Terms

Fish Species

5.1 There is no limit on how many state record Channel Catfish, Blue Catfish, or Flathead Catfish can be caught per calendar year.

Second Fish

5.2 The second fish for the rollover jackpot will be based on where that jackpot falls, determined by rod sales of MSRP PRICES between 5001-10,000…..etc per every 5000 rods sold up to 25,000 rod sales total.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.
